Kanna Hashimoto - Sailor Suit and Machine Gun: Graduation
The participation of idol group personnel Rev. from DVL as the main character in Sailor Suit and Machine Gun: Graduation, announced in June 2015. This is also the first time for him to play a leading role in a film.
Sailor Suit and Machine Gun: Graduation is an indirect sequel to the classic film released in 1981. Originally, this film adapted the novel by Jirou Akagawa.
This film tells the story of Izumi who is in a normal school environment. When he is about to graduate, he solves the case regarding the perpetrators of his father's murder (taken from the storyline of the 1981 film version).
Now, he works as the manager of Medaka Cafe in a shopping center. However, after he was told by his friends about the fraud that involved them, Izumi also felt a danger that haunted her again.
Some of the stars involved in this film include Hiroki Hasegawa (Attack on Titan), Masanobu Andou (Battle Royale), and Tetsuya Takeda (Sannen B Gumi Kimpachi Sensei).
The film premiered in Japan on March 5, 2016. Kouji Maeda (Konzentokkyu, Watashi no Hawaii no Arukikata) is directing with a script directed by Akira Takada (Soko Nomi Nite Hikari Kagayaku).
